Meal Plan Options

If you would like to purchase a meal plan or make changes to your existing meal plan, please visit the McNeese Dining Services Office located in the New Ranch Student Union, Suite 207 (upstairs).

Office Hours:

Monday – Friday

8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

All meal plan changes must be submitted before the 14th class day of the semester. No exceptions will be made after this deadline.

Important: All first-year residents and freshmen are required to enroll in the Ultra Poke Unlimited Meal Plan. If you fall into either of these categories, please do not submit a meal plan change request, as you are not eligible to change your required meal plan.

Ultra-Poke Unlimited – $2,750 per Semester

Includes: Unlimited meal swipes and $285 Cowboy Cash

The Ultra-Poke Unlimited Meal Plan is designed for students living in residence halls without kitchen facilities. This plan provides unlimited access to Rowdy's Dining, allowing students the flexibility to dine whenever it fits their schedule.

Important: All first-year residents and freshmen are required to enroll in the Ultra-Poke Unlimited Meal Plan. No exceptions.

Eligibility:

  • Students living in residence halls
  • Commuter students may also purchase this plan

Rowdy Plan – $1,870 per Semester

Includes: 10 meal swipes per week and $285 Cowboy Cash

The Rowdy Plan is ideal for students living in apartments or housing with kitchen access who still want the convenience of dining on campus. This plan is also available to eligible upper-class residents living in traditional residence halls.

Eligibility:

  • Students living in apartments or housing with kitchens
  • Eligible returning residents
  • Commuter students may also purchase this plan

Kicker Plan – $1,300 per Semester

Includes: 5 meal swipes per week and $300 Cowboy Cash

The Kicker Plan is designed for students who primarily prepare meals at home but want the flexibility of dining on campus throughout the week.

Eligibility:

  • Students living in apartments or housing with kitchens
  • Commuter students may also purchase this plan

Commuter Plan – $155 per Semester

Includes: $150 Poke Cash

This plan is the default meal plan for commuter students who do not qualify for designated exceptions, such as students enrolled in fully online programs or students who are 23 years of age or older at the start of the semester.

Additional Dining Options

Unlimited Drink Club – $87.50 per Semester

Available to commuter students and McNeese employees.

The Unlimited Drink Club includes unlimited:

  • Drip Coffee
  • Iced Coffee
  • Water
  • Tea
  • Lemonade

Beverages may be redeemed at our We Proudly Serve Starbucks and Einstein Bros. Bagels locations. Flavor shots and specialty beverage add-ons are available for an additional charge.

Ranch Bucks

Ranch Bucks is a declining-balance account available to all students and is loaded directly onto your McNeese ID card.

Benefits of Ranch Bucks include:

  • Tax-free purchases at participating campus dining locations
  • Convenient payment using your student ID barcode
  • Easy online reloading

Students may purchase or reload Ranch Bucks:

  • Online through the McNeese Dining website
  • In person at the Dining Services Office
  • By scanning QR codes posted throughout campus dining locations

Please Note: Meal plan rates, meal swipe allocations, Poke Cash, Cowboy Cash, Ranch Bucks, and other dining program offerings are subject to change without notice.

Unlimited Drink Club: $87.50/ Semester

  • This plan is for commuter students and employees

Cowboy Cash

Additional Cowboy Cash may be purchased using financial aid or scholarship funds. Cowboy Cash purchased through financial aid or scholarships expires at the end of each semester.

To use financial aid or scholarship funds to purchase Cowboy Cash, students must visit either the Financial Aid Office or the Scholarship Office located in Chozen Hall/Student Center at the corner of Ryan Street and McNeese Street.
